How do I get my email address not be be hyperlink in my signature

My email address in my signature is hyperlinked. I went to the advanced edit
option, but now it is Active X inserting. I do not want it to by hyperlinked
so how do I remove it.

Verify the HTML of your signature and remove the <a href=""></a> tag
