How do I get more options in my file save requester

How do I expand my choice of filetypes in the file save requester, it
currently only lets me save as jpeg's...

gif's etc are not there as an option...

IIRC that is a problem with IE when the cache is full. So, simply delete
the temporary internet files. Within IE, go to Tools, Internet Options,
and choose Delete Files in the Temporary Internet Files section.

You should do this on a regular basis.
