How do I get JavaScript on my Comptuer?

Everytime I go to a site that needs JavaScript it says it is not Enabled but
it is because I have done and checked my settings. I am going to need this as
I am taking Online Classes in the Fall. Can someone please tell me how to go
about getting JavaScript on my computer.

If scripting is not disabled in your IE security settings - Tools...Internet
Options...Security tab, Custom, then your scripting engines may need to be
reinstalled. Choose the appropriate link here:
