If you are missing all toolbars, including the menu bar, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm. Otherwise,
right-click on any toolbar and select the toolbars you want displayed. If
you want both the Standard and Formatting toolbars on their own rows (not
combined in one row) check (or clear) the appropriate box in Tools |
Customize | Options.
