Yes, I was clueless! I thought the files (pictures) were part of the
storyboard. What I didn't realize was that I had to select all files
and cut them from the top in order to begin a new storyboard at the
bottom with the top empty to begin with. I've got it figured it now!

The files on the Storyboard or Timeline
(which ever you choose)...are the current
work in progress. You can add files from
any of your collections to the current
project. The only thing that is required to
begin a fresh new project is an empty
Storyboard/Timeline.
BTW...deleting from the Storyboard/Timeline
has no effect on the project files...they are still
available. Also...deleting files from your
Collections folders has no effect on the original
source files. They will still be in their original
locations in your hard drive.
And...if your project is composed entirely of
still images...you might find PhotoStory 3 to
be a useful program:
