I am using MS Office Word 2003. How do I flag a Word document for
follow up?

There is no such function in Word.

If you have Outlook or some other calendar-based program that lets you set a
reminder, use that.

To be able to find the document easily when your reminder pops up, you can
add it to the little-known Work menu -- see
