How do I fix

I am trying to install Yahoo messenger 8, it goes through all but at the last
min. it says I do not have the the ability to change configuration and I need
to log in as administrator, but the problem is I am logged in as
administrator,.. how do i fix this?? I will need detailed info as I am not a
puter geek... LOL please help!!!
 
Create another user account and give it admin rights, log in with that
account, install yahoo.

Why not stick with version 7?
Might be a version 8 bug?
