How do I fix msvcrt.dll error on Outlook 2003 ?

The error causes Outlook to crash when sending and receiving mail - it seems
to be especially prone to doing this when a mail from a Yahoo! group is being
received.
I think it is something to do with the message header but cannot seem to
find the answeer in the Microsoft knowledge Base.
 
What is logged to the Event Viewer? Installed the latest Service Pack
already?
