How do I fix a "Rundll error"

I have this pop up when I turn on my computer saying "Error loading
C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll
The specified module can not be found."

PC works fine otherwise, How can I get that error message to go away?

you have spyware and i just finished removing that from my daughters puter
this am .

there are NO spyware programs out there that will remove this one , you have
to do it manually .

backup your registry first

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run
dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will
open.)

Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run'

In the right pane, delete the value called 'RunDLL', if it exists.

Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \
{9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF}', if it exists.

Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion
\ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \
{9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF}', if it exists.

Exit the registry editor.

Restart your computer.

Start Windows Explorer
<./../../../spywarescanner/library/glossary/windowsexplorer.phtml> and
delete:
%SystemDir%\bridge.dll
Note: %SystemDir% is a variable
(<./../../../spywarescanner/library/glossary/variable.phtml>). By default,
this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows
NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).

By not shouting and doing a Google search for the error. Seriously, you
have spyware. Contrary to the advice you already got (but didn't quote
so I had to look for it), you will be able to remove this common piece
of malware with regular spyware removal tools. Remove spyware with
Spybot Search & Destroy from www.safer-networking.org and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. Be sure to update these programs before running
them. These programs are free, so run them both since they complement
each other. It is best to run antivirus and spyware removal tools in
Safe Mode. You may also need to run CWShredder from

Please read the instructions carefully. A great resource for dealing
with spyware is http://www.spywareinfo.com. Also, make sure you've
visited Windows Update and applied all security patches. Make sure you
are running a firewall and have a current antivirus program installed
with updated definitions.
