Hi ya, I want my master slide to have a white background with a design
feature to the side - I can't seem to find what I want - is there a way to
change a template? or is it better to create a master slide and copy in a
clip art as the desgin feature? TIA

You are correct - add graphics to your master slide(s) to design your own
look. Then save the file as a POT file (Design Template) to always have
access to it in your Slide Design Task Pane.

Thanks so much Sandy - one other quick question, is 'clip art' the source for
such designs? I don't own any design packages

Insert > Picture > Picture from clip art will give you option, including line
art or photos. There are other sources on the net but you have to consider
usage rights. A terrific source I use often is www.indezine.shutterstock.com.
You have a lot more options at very low prices ($8 - $12 per photo). You can
copy the photos with a watermark to test them before purchase...

What a fantastic website -thank you Sandy
