How do I enter more than 0ne condition in an "if" statement

I want to check a cell to see if there is an "R", "L" or "C" and if there is
I would like to take another cell and add days to it depending on which
letter is in the cell.
 
Cell -- suggest that you're using EXCEL .....

This newsgroup is for ACCESS, the desktop database program in Office.
