How do I enable a codec in Outlook 2003?

I am trying to enable unified messaging with Toshiba Stratagy Voicemail.
Currently, I get blank email notification of voicemail messages. I have
installed the SESAudio codec, but am unable to get past that. I know it's
possible to play the voicemail in Outlook 2000, but how do I accomplish this
with 2003?
 
Check with the vendor to verify they support 2003. There were changes in
mapi and some transports that worked before using Corp mode don't work with
2002/2003.
