How do I embed a sound file in Power Point?

I am using PPT 2003 and am trying to embed a sound file into my presentation
so that I can email it to others (it's a short, 4-slide presentation with a
sound file that just fits it PERFECTLY). I have tried the Help for over 30
minutes but it has nothing on how to embed the sound. Thanks!

If it is a WAV file, you can click "Tools", "Options" and on the "General"
TAB select a file size larger than the sound file you want to use. If it is
other than a WAV file, sorry, but linked is the only way. Put the sound
file in the same folder as your PowerPoint file, THEN insert it. Zip up
both files and when they unzip them into the same folder, the sound will
still play fine.
