During editing of a word document, a spell bar pops up at will, and moves my
cursor to another paragraph and wants direction on how to correct the word. I
have looked in tools under, spelling and grammar, auto, and options(spelling
section) and i do not see anything checked to auto check spelling. This is
very time consuming to go find where I was editing, and frustrating.

Any help would be most appreciated.
thank you

You aren't by any chance using the F7 or Alt+F7 keystroke when this occurs,
are you? You might also take a look at Tools>Customize, click the Keyboard
button, then locate & select the ToolsSpelling command to see if there is a
kybd shortcut assigned to it.

If not, although it may seem to be "at will" there is probably something
consistant. Try to determine what that might be.

No, im not using the F7 or alt +F7. I took a look at the toolsspelling cmd
but did not see any shortcut assigned. I cannot find any pattern or sequence
to this popup window, yet.
