how do I eliminate page 2 of a 2 page document

I have a document which shows as a 2 pasge document but the second page is
blank. When I print the document, I get a blank sheet of paper plus the
document.
I don't know how to eliminate page 2.
 
Hit Ctrl + End to move the cursor to the end of the document. Then hit
backspace until you move up to remove the excess returns you most
likely have.

Note: If you click View > Print Layout and then hit Ctrl + Shift + 8,
you will be able to see the hidden markers. All those little markers
that look like paragraph marks (backwards capital IP), which you
probably have on the page, are excess returns...paragraph markers from
hitting the return.
