How do I edit attached excel sheet to any task in outlook 2003?

I am using microsoft 2003 outlook.
I have asigned a task from outlook.
I also insert one excel sheet in this task and modify the excel sheet.
Save and close the task.
When I am opening same task again, I can't able to edit excel sheet.

Could anyone help me in resolving this issue, it would be great help to me?

Drag the attachment to a folder on your PC and edit it. Remove the original
from the task and then attach the changed file.
