How do I edit a message that has already started to transmit

How do I edit a message that has already started to transmit? I sent my email
message without changing my photo sizes & realised too late :| I cancelled
the sending bit but now I can't access or move the message to edit it &
resend. The message that comes up is: "Can't open this item. Outlook has
already begun transmitting this message." Please helpppppppp :|
