How do I dub my cassette recordings to HD and then to VD?

I have a lot of music on cassettes and noticed I can connect rca
outputs to my PC as well as vieo for copying vcr tapes. Can I just
copy music from cassettes as well? How do I do this and which program
do I use?

Hey, I recently found that article when I got around to wanting to get my
music off my old cassettes and records. However when I went to the download
for the plus program it says that it is no longer available, but comes with
the new vista puters...I have a laptop that is XP...
do I have to buy a NEW laptop with vista in order to use these programs???
I hope not..

can be generally applied to any digital audio recording program. A
decent free one is Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/). Also
many other programs include simple audio recorders or editors. Nero,
the CD/DVD burning program, includes Nero Wave Editor.
