How do I download all POP messages with Outlok 2007?

I installed configured a POP3 account ( Gmail ) into Outlook 2007 and am able
to download messages. HOWEVER -- Outlook only downloads messages from today,
not those from previous days - even they are unread! It seems not to see or
download messages with dates prior to the date on which Outlook was installed.

Are there some parms to set which permit downloading of all messages
regardless of date?

thx - stu

Yup - Arrange by = Date, Current View = Messages

I really need to pull down the 150 or so messages in my Gmail account, but
which are dated before the install date of Outlook 2007. Any other ideas?
I'm quite open to suggestions on this!

BTW - other email programs will see and download those messages, but I'd
like to consolidate all my email into Outlook.

As a workaround, if you cannot cure, download them in Outlook Express then
*Export* them to Outlook

On gmail, click Settings>Forwarding and POP and select the radio button
labeled "Enable POP for all mail"
