how do i determine the profile to use when syncing with my palm

I'm trying to load my palm software on my new computer. I choose to sync
with Outlook then it asks for a profile name (outlook is the default). I
just continue on my way, but when I sync I get an error message regarding to
the effect that the message has changed. I think it has something to do with
this profile name it's looking for, but I don't know where to find it. Any
help is appreciated!
 
Can you provide the error message -
I doubt it is the profile name as this is just descriptive but the error
that you did provide does sound familiar when a Palm is looking for message
that has been removed or has changed and can not synch it.
