How do I design a new custom toolbar in Word 2007?

I am having trouble finding out how to make a new toolbar in Word 2007. I
know about the customize options in the Office button, Word options, but
cannot see how to add styles to a new custom toolbar.

Not easily - is the short answer. If you have access to an earlier Word

Do however investigate Word 2007's method of associating style sets with the
Home tab.
