The drop down box in outlook is cluttered up with web site adresses which I
will probably never use again. How do I delete them? The normal procedure of
highlighting them and using delete does not work.

The addresses are also in IE's Address bar, so you need to delete the
registry key in IE that controls it. Browse the registry (or search it using
a word from one of the urls) or search Google for the proper key.
