How do I delete the web address that automatically pops up?

I changed my domain to another server but am keeping the same domain name. I
can't figure out how to change my user name and password because it
automatically comes up and is no longer valid, even though the domain name
remains the same

Are you using File Publish Web / Site (which should give you the log in screen)

Below is how to have FP recognize them
(reverse the procedure to have FP/IE challenge you for one)

Passwords used by FP are "stored" using IE
In IE use Tools > Internet Options > Security
Click on 'Trusted' and on 'Custom Level'
Make sure the selection at the bottom is set to:
'Automatic logon with current username and password' and click OK
Click on 'Sites' and add your site URL in the 'Add this Web Site to the Zone', and OK, OK
- note: you may have to unselect the option: Require server verification (https)... to add your site
