How do I delete read only from a document ?

When I save a document it comes back read only, do I save it wrong? and how
can I delete read only?

You don't provide enough information. Start with the version of Word, and the
version of Windows. Then tell us how you know it's "read-only": do you get an
error message? If yes, what's the exact text?
