How do I delete processing message frozen in send/receive

When I click on send/receive in Microsoft Outlook inbox there is a message
showing as "receiving-processing" at 50%, I need to know how to delete this
or clear it somehow.
 
Version? You can run the Inbox Repair Tool-- scanpst.exe Look it up in Help
to see the instructions for your version.
 
Thanks, when I click on scanost I receive message "Offine synchronization is
not supported in your mailbox" Have Microsoft Office 2003, any suggestions?
 
Sorry, I don't know about ost files. Scanost in Help has some instructions.
