How do i delete old news group postings

I have thousands of news group postings on my comp and wondered if there
is
a quick way to remove these.

You can click on the first one, hold down the shift key, click on the last
one and then hit the DEL key......or you can unsubscribe and resubscribe.

Denise.
You could create a "Rule".
Tools-->Message Rules-->News...News Rules Tab. Create a rule that deletes
all messages older than xxx days, and apply it.
You will have to reapply that rule again whenever you want to delete newly
accumulated postings.
You can apply the rule to each individual news
group(microsoft.public.windowsxp.accessibility), or to entire group of news
groups(news.microsoft.com).
