How do i delete norton anti virus software?

I am trying to uninstall norton anti virus 2004, i have gone to add/remove
programs and it is not on the list, so what do i do?

I would check the website of the company that wrote the software,
instead of a newsgroup for Windows XP.

Open Explorer and go to the folder into which Norton was installed and look
for the uninstall program itself. Should be similar to UNINST.EXE
