How do I delete file in Outlook Outbox that is too big to send?

I tried to send an email with an attachment that is too big to send. I
cannot delete it, move it, or open it. When I try to open the email, I get
the message:"Outlook has already begun transmitting this message." Nothing
seems to work.

try killing the Outlook.exe process in the task manager, Processes list.

Or you might try to create a new profile for that user.

Thanks for the help. I created the new profile and eventually was able to
delete the noxious file, but, it is a very old hotmail account. I am able to
receive messages, but now there is no junk mail folder. How can I
synchronize this with the hotmail account if it doesn't do it automatically?
