I am trying to delete blocks of text in Word 2000. Whenever I try this I am
told I need to then select "y" or "n" to either delete or not delete the
highlighted text. Does anyone know how to change this so I can delete blocked
text without this extra step? That is that the text will delte by just
hitting the delete key.

Hi, Glenn. In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
