How do I delete a Instlled programe

Hi,

My son tried to install a game on my laptop, made 3 attempts
would not run so uninstalled it via the control panel add and
remove section. The problem is the programme was listed
3 times, after uninstalling one, then trying the other 2 just
got the message programme not found. How can I delete
the entry in the add and remove section as the game
has been uninstalled.
