How do I de-activate the show invisibles feature in Outlook ?

When I reply to or writ a new email I cannot remove the strange backward P
symbols and the dots between each word. I have tried to de-activate in the
View dropdown to no avail.
 
Open a new email message then go to its Tools menu > Options command > View
tab
