How do I de-activate Office XP, then re-install on new PC?

I have a new PC on order and I'd like to move my Office XP
(Student) to the new machine. I assume I'l have to de-
activate it somehow, then re-activate it on the new PC.
How to officially de-activate it?

TIA

There is no such thing called "deactivating Office XP". Simply uninstall
Office XP from your old computer, then install it on the new computer.
If the Product Activation procedure should fail, then use the "activate
by telephone" support option.
