How do I create map with circles that roll over to show text

I want to create a map in PPT with Circles representing diferent companies
locations. I want to be able to hover over the circles or click on a circle
which would take me to a small text file with company name. Can this be done
in PowerPoint. It is almost a Flash request but of course my company does
not have Flash. I really need some suggestions of this one.

TAJ already pointed out two possibilities with QuickInfos and Hyperlinks,
here is a third: Trigger animations.
