How do I create blank (no art or anything) labels for Avery 5660?

I am using Microsoft Word 2003 SP2.

I want to create a blank document to paste in addresses for my eBay
auctions. I don't want any of the graphics that seem to come with EVERY
single document template. But I do want the layout of the Avery 5660 so that
I can be confident my addresses will print onto the labels correctly.

It's easy in Publisher to do this, you just go to Page Setup and choose
lables. However, in publisher the same address will print to all the labels
unless you do a mail merge.

I do not want to do a mail merge, I should be able to just cut and paste.

Thanks in advance.

I use Word if all I want is a single label.

Word has plain labels so I don't understand the graphics part. Just create a
new document of that label and put the address in the next available label's
cell.

Hi JoAnn -

Thanks for the reply. I usually print anywhere from 3 to 15 labels at a
time. Running the same sheet of 5660s through the printer over and over
again isn't time effective for me. I would like to be able to just cut and
paste into a document and then print that document one time. But the doc has
to be blank.

Thanks,

chris

Cut and paste from where?

If you create a new document of the labels, it will give you a "blank" sheet
of however many labels are on a sheet. I assume the 5660 have 30 on a sheet
like the 5160. You'll have 30 blank labels to do whatever.

In Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels, select the Labels
tab. Click Options and select Avery 5660. OK. Back in the Labels dialog,
click New Document. This will create an empty sheet of labels. It is
formatted as a table, so be sure you have table gridlines displayed (Table |
Show Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries. You can now type or
paste anything you like into each label cell.
