Install an audio utility or converter that is capable of saving MP3 files.

If your playback device can handle .wma files, you can use Windows media
player to copy your CD to .wma files; it's built in. Also, if you have any
CD Burning software, maybe it has an .mp3 ripper. As a last resort, do a
goggle search (or use whatever search engine you want) to look up .mp3
rippers.
