How do I create a SSL certificates?

I need to know how to create a SSL certificate on windows
server 2000 with IIS Ver.5. But I just want a test
certificate, it doesn't matter if is trusted or not.

You need to to make it into a Certificate Authority and request the certificate. See
the links below for how to setup a CA and how to request a web server

You also have this option. I dont know if it will work
for your purposes, but there are two tools that will
make "fake" certifacates suitable for testing. Info is in
