How do I create a back page for a book, in MS Word?

I want to add a back page (inside blank and with back matter on the cover) to
my ebook. That must come after the References (Endnotes). However, Word
grays out and disables the page layout features when I position the cursor in
the Endnotes section. I now resort to a separate file when I take it to my
printer for hard copies but that is no good for my eBook.
