In Outlook 2003 the time signature is inserting a date/time from 2003. My
system clock is correct and synchronized automatically. Any ideas on how to
fix it?

thanks

This is not a default feature of Outlook. What add-in are you using?

I have Office 2003 Professional and just did a full install of it. I'm
running Lookout and SpamBayes but neither of those added a default signature
with Outlook 2000. Othere than that I don't have any other add-ins that I'm
aware of.

Thanks

How did you create your signature? Does it happen when composing for all
formats? HTML, Rich Text, Plain Text?

That's the weird part, I didn't create the signature, it was there after I
installed Office. I wonder if it was created with a time stamp that wasn't
dynamic so instead of getting the current time it used the time from when it
was created? I haven't tried opening the sig for editing so I'm not sure
what it is using to get the timestamp.

Yup they were there, several different formats. Looking at the field codes
it looks like there isn't a field code for what the signature was trying to
do; namely, generate a timestamp of when the email message was opened in the
editor. The Date field doesn't update automatically when you open the
document. Thanks for your help.
