I am trying to create an outlook onto my portable drive so that when i travel
i can access all my read mail. This goes for my contacts as well. How do you
create a copy of Microsoft Outlook?

With Outlook closed you copy the data file to some other location.
Of course you need Outlook to open this data file, so unless you connect
your portable drive to a device that has outlook installed you wont be able
to open it.

If this is a home PC using a POP account, with Outlook closed, copy your PST
to the portable drive. All your mail, contacts, calendar, etc. are in the
same file. See this:
