I made a database at home with access2003, when I copied it on a cd and took
it to work to put on our network it was a readonly file only. How do I copy
the entire file so others at work can enter data?

By default, files on a CD will become read only. You should be able to copy
it to your LAN (or PC) and change the read-only attribute.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

A file burned onto a CD will have it's Read Only attribute set. It will
remain Read Only when copied to a hard disk. Look at the file's properties
on the hard disk with Explorer and reset the Read Only attribute.

Note that this is not an Access issue any more than giving your keyboard a
drink of coffee or soda would be or if you forgot to turn on your
ystem ]:-)
