how do i copy/move text between two word documents

I am trying to re-arrange a document and would like to move around the text
to re-organize it -how can I do this quickly and easily

Open the original document and a new document.

If you have both opened in small windows, you can move them around and
adjust the view size so both documents are showing on your screen at the same
time.

Go to the section of the original document you want to copy, left click at
the beginning of the section and hold the mouse button, move the cursor to
the end of the section you want to copy so it is highlighted. Right click in
the highlighted area, left click on copy. Go to the new document and right
click where you want the text, then left click on paste.
