how do I copy macros in word from one computer to another

How do I copy macros I have in word from my lap top to my desk top

The macros are saved in Normal.dot unless you've intentionally saved them

Provided you have the same Word version on both PCs, locate the hidden file
normal.dot(m) on your Laptop and use it to replace the similar file on your
desktop.
or
get someone to do it for you who knows what they are doing.
