G Gord Dibben Mar 22, 2008 #2 To start with, you cannot insert an object like a picture "into a cell". Objects float on top of cells so you "insert" the picture into the worksheet. Are you just copying and pasting the picture from Paint? Save the picture then use Insert>Picture>From File The top left corner of picture will be at the active cell, which is the cell you selected before inserting. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP
