How do I convert word 6 macros/templates to word xp?

I am trying to resolve multiple issues encountered in a Word 6 installation
when users are trying to generate documents using templates and macros
(errors such as "Err=24 in SetToolbars") that have been happening ever since
we upgraded the server to Server 2003.

I would like to remove Word 6 and install Word XP but I need to convert all
the templates and macros - I assumed that when I try to open a templte with
Word XP it would give me an option to convert, but instead I get an
"Insufficient Memory" error.

Can anyone out there please help!!???

This would mean the file is damaged in some way. You might get better results
opening the templates first in Word 97 (closest version to 6).

You could also try saving the files to RTF format in Word 6, then opening the
result in Word 2002.
