if you want to make a DVD disc you will need a DVD burner
The burner will have a DVD application to make DVD discs
save your Powerpoint presentaion as individual images by:
file > save as > jpg
answer yes to save all images
start your DVD application, import the jpg files then burn the DVD
I note the advice given many times here advises you to use camtasia, well
that costs more than the whole microsoft office suite
save your money and get far better quality by using your exising software at
no extra cost
If you need animations from the PPT file, importing JPGs won't give you
that.
If you don't need animations from the PPT file, then sure, importing JPGs is
a perfectly good way to go about creating a DVD.
