how do i convert lotus notes to ms word

I have documents that were saved with lotus notes, I cannot read these with
word how can i convert these documents to word documents?

What file format were they saved as? .nsf? .123? .lwp? .doc?
Lotus Notes works with a wide array of programs, which save in
their native format through Notes' interface, including Microsoft
Office, so the answer depends on the format of the resulting file,
not on the fact that Notes saved it. If, though, they were saved
as Word Pro documents, see a post on that subject in this forum
today. (And the same basic approach would hold if they were saved
as .123 spreadsheets.)
