Using Word 2007 and have a mail merge document that I want to save as a
standard document, using the specfic entries in the fields.

Is this a mail merge main document containing mergefields or a document
resulting from a mail merge? If the latter, it already is a standard
document. If the former, then you can use the Start Mail Merge button to
convert the document to a Normal Word Document.

If by 'specific entries' you mean the result of the merge, then check Edit
Individual Documents from the Finish & Merge button on the Mailings Tab. If
you want an individual document for each record, see
