How do I come up with the maximum points?

When I type in a value, it says something about the field is set to true

Sorry, but this is a little too cryptic!

First, are you talking about Access (the database product that's part of
Office Professional)? If not, you'll need to ask in a newsgroup related to
whatever product you're using.

Second, where are you typing the value: into a field in a table, a field in
a query, a control on a form, etc.?

Third, what's the exact error message?
