How do I collapse companies as the default view?

In office 2003, when I view contacts as "company" all companies are expanded.
How do I make the default view the collapsed view?

Right click the column headers, Select Group By, then in the bottom right
corner of the next pop up window, select All expanded as the view you want
it to default to.
