How do I close a footnote window?

I wanted to edit a footnote (in Word 2003) so I opened a footnote window with View Footnotes. Now I can't close it. Why?
 
Thanks, Larry. I have now discovered that it wasn't a Word problem - I was using another program (Trados) with it and had to close the window through that with Alt + 0.
